Retries and deadlines

Hello.

Am I right that there is only one deadline per request for all retries?

Are there any way to set deadline per each retry?

Yes. Check this out https://github.com/grpc/proposal/blob/master/A6-client-retries.md#maximum-number-of-retries

"gRPC's call deadline applies across all attempts for a given RPC. For example, if the specified deadline for an RPC is July 23 9:00:00pm PDT the operation will fail after that time regardless of how many attempts were configured or attempted."
