Bypass Notification Center Display Option?

Is it possible to bypass notification center in v2.0 for particular apps?  For example, I use Pester to remind me to save my work at regular intervals but it doesn't make sense to wind up with a bunch of saved up reminders to save in notification center.   It would be great to be able to specify a different display style other than notification center for particular apps.

Or is there a workaround solution?

Hello, so the NC switch in growl is an all or nothing thing for right
now in Growl, however, there is a third party plugin that has been
updated for Growl 2.0 which might provide some of what you are looking
for: http://barkplug.in. This plugin is not developed or officially
supported by the growl project, although we are in touch with its
developers. It does some things we can't do and be approved for the
app store.
