Oh great, so without Mountain Lion, we are stuck with the built-in Growl?  Sparrow has been bought by Google, so no updates anymore. And I guess this is not considered to be a bug.

After the update my Growl notifications are completely gone... not even built-in on Lion. Anyone else experiencing this? :/

Yeah of course, there's a checkbox for Growl notifications. Before it didn't recognize Growl 1.4, now I see nothing. :(
