Every few days I get an alert that sticks and will not drop down unless I close Growl and restart. I think this is a carry over from prior versions. It isn't a major problem, but it sometimes gets in the way.

Have you check to see what the setting for the app to see if it is set to stay on screen in the growl preferences?

Despite the connecting purpose of the Web, it is not entirely open to all of

platforms and devices. However, many devices are excluded access to Web

So, since 2.0 has a rewritten positioning and display life cycle, it
isn't likely a carry over. I need to know more details, what display
style, what settings, any thing that is odd that you did or noticed
about it.

My Display is Music Video in default starting position.  The  Opacity is 68% duration set to 6.0 s Size Large version 2.0.1 of Display style.  The sticky could be with any progrogram, this last time it was with hardware Growler showing network status.  The time before it was with Thunderbird 18 showing a mail received. It usually happens after awaking from sleep.
