I am running Lion 10.7.3 and upgraded to Growl 1.3.1. I get growl notifications for from Postbox Mail only, Skype growl notifications funny enough only appear when I have the Skype dialogue open and I am chatting with someone. If it is in the background I get nothing. Also I am running a menu bar app from Flow (task management app) and I am not receving growl notifications. I have been in contact with Flow and they have not been able to help find the problem. I have checked to make sure all the service support Growl 1.3.1 using Growl Version Detection and they all check out.

http://growl.info/documentation/appconfigs/skype.php  for Skype. Let us know if this worked, then we'll figure out Flow. Also make sure that you are on Growl 1.3.3.

I have installed Growl 1.3.3 through the app store. I have attached a screen shot of my Skype notifications preferences as they look a little different then the notifications window in the Skype documentation. Thanks for your help on this. Shaun

Also forgot to mention that Growl 1.3.1 is in my Utilities folder in the Applications director.

I noticed that Dropbox and Postbox both work successfully with Growl.

I attached a couple of screen shots of my Skype preferences in some earlier correspondence. They are set to growl notifications. Let me know what specifics you would like me to provide.

Those should be enough. They look different than what I've seen so I'll check into my end and let you know what's up. :)

Skype seems to work fine on my end, did you ever figure it out on yours?
