I have been a bit confused about the relationship between Growl and Notification Center. It seems to me that some appas that work with Growl nut not with the NC are now showing up in the NC preference pane listing.

Is that correct?

Apps which have updated to the 2.0 framework will appear in NC and
Growl if the NC switch is on. Apps which are using an older
framework, will only appear registered and Growl, and will be listed
in NC as under Growl.

Thats not what I meant.

For example, SABnzb currently does not support the NC but it is listed in the NC preference pane. If I uninstall Grow, it will still be so listed but there are no notifications. I was just wondering if somehow Growl was causing these apps to be listed in the NC preference pane even if they are not directly supported there.

We shouldn't be causing other apps to be listed there via Growl.app
itself, only apps which use the updated Growl 2.0 framework. Not
entirely sure what might cause that, maybe Bark (a Growl/NC hack/
plugin)?

Must have been one of those and I was starting to have duplicate entires in the NC pref pane. I renamed the .db file and rebooted and problem fixed...thanks!
