Caching notifications from Sparrow.app

I didn't have any issues for the first few days, but now my Growl
notifications from Sparrow are caching and I'm getting them
intermittently. For example, 2-3 emails will come in and then randomly
I'll be notified that I have 2-3 emails. I contacted Sparrow's support
and they eventually said that it sounds like a Growl issue.

I'm on Growl 1.3, Mac OS 10.7.2, and Sparrow 1.4.3 beta (although I
had the same issue on stable too)

I'm still having this issue on the latest Sparrow beta and latest
Growl from the App Store. Is no one else experiencing this? I only get
notifications every few emails. It works for the first hour or two but
then starts messing up again...

Do any other applications have this issue?

and goes and lasts for a few days at a time.

I'm having the same issue. Quitting and starting Sparrow again helps.

Same, tho restarting sparrow doesn't always help.  Latest version of both installed, of course.

I think something I did may have fixed this. Not sure though. Got rid of the following from ~/Library:

1. com.sparrowmailapp.sparrow
   
2. com.sparrowmailapp.sparrow.plist.lockfile
   
3. com.sparrowmailapp.sparrow.savedState
   
4. com.sparrowmailapp.sparrowlite
   
5. com.sparrowmailapp.sparrowlite.plist
   
6. com.sparrowmailapp.sparrowlite.plist.lockfile
   
7. com.sparrowmailapp.sparrowlite.savedState
   

I'm not sure it is fixed because it's only been around 4 hours. I suspect that having the Sparrow Lite files from the previous install may be screwing things.
