Facebook stopped working and uninstalled itself

I've been on the Facebook alpha program for a couple of months now not had many problems until today. I have a Galaxy S4 running 4.3. Today my Facebook suddenly disappeared of my phone, I could only find it in the Applications folder. I deleted what was in there, and have been trying to install Facebook every since and it keeps telling me that there is an error 497 trying to install it. I have tried installing other apps, and have had no problems. I did have a person on Facebook from Facebook that was helping with some problems but he seems to have disappeared. So I have had to post here. Please can you help?
