Hello,
I recently downloaded GrowlTunes on the mac app store and I noticed
two things:
I can't seem to find where to change my display options from the
default "smoke" to anything else.
And secondly the application "GrowlTunes" is not in the "application"
settings of "Growl" in the system preferences.
My standard display for Growl is "Pseudo-Coda", so needless to say it
looks a bit weird having messages in the "smoke" display come by when
everything else that is supported by Growl displays in a different
style.
Also the screenshot of the app in the mac app store definitely had a
different display style, not sure which one but it wasn't "smoke".
So, how do I change this? Cause this is kind of silly.

Thanks,
Ariëlla

The screenshots from the app store are without Growl running at all. If you are running Growl, you an either change the global default in the Displays tab, or you can go to the Applications tab and then find GrowlTunes and change the setting there.

Yes, I've changed the default to Pseudo-Coda in Growl in the system
preferences in the top down menu in the displays tab.
And as stated before "GrowlTunes" is not in my applications tab in
Growl.
So once again... help?

What version of Growl are you using?

I'm using Growl 1.2.
I recently switched to Lion, so perhaps that's what's causing the
problem? (Wouldn't be the first problem caused by Lion. ;) )
I checked for updates but nothing came up. Do I need to purchase the
Growl from the mac app store?

I uninstalled the previous Growl and purchased Growl 1.3.3,
it now seems to work properly but GrowlTunes is still not in the list
of applications in the Growl app.
I'm not sure if this is intentional, if not you should probably have
someone look in to that.
Thanks for the help.

So just to summarize:

1) You purchased GrowlTunes from the app store.

2) You have Growl installed.

3) You do not see GrowlTunes in the applications list.

Is that correct?  If so that's definitely not intentional.  Can you look in Console if this is the case and see if there is anything from GrowlTunes?
