The pop up buttons for display style selection (global, application,
and notification) have their enabled status tied to the Notification
Center switch on Growl's general tab, not whether Growl is listed as
shown in Notification Center's in Notification Center's preferences.
We cant know the status of Growl's settings in Notification Center
itself unfortunately. Also, we will remain listed in NC's preferences
even after the general tab switch is turned off, as there is no way
for us to remove that registration (and even if we could, you would
lose your settings for it when we removed it).

2.0.1 is out now and should resolve this issue.

meh, it would have helped if i had fully read daniel's response. this is in fact not addressed in 2.0.1. there is another issue relating to selecting default style that is fixed by 2.0.1.
