In the MacUpdate settings, check to see if notifications are set to growl

It might get added on its own, do you have growl running before you open MacUpdate desktop?

I remember there used to be a setting in older versions, on 5.1 not sure where it was moved to

Hi all,

Go to http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/8544/macupdate-desktop and read the following points :
  • Supports Notification Center on OS X 10.8
  • Updated Growl support for OS X 10.6 - 10.7
I think there is no more Growl support on OS X 10.8 !

Cheers,

Michel

Which is annoying of them, if they had just used our 2.0 framework,
they could have support for Growl or NC on 10.8 depending on the
user's wishes.
