Just update to Growl 2.0.1 and a nice amount of virtual memory, it is staying at 192.3 mb attached a sample

Yes, we know, 2.0.1 doesn't mention improvements to memory usage anywhere in its release notes. It is up next after GrowlTunes gets the memory usage treatment.
