HardwareGrowl and external IP address?

I have a cable modem from my ISP and that connects with my apple Airport Extreme which handles DHCP for my LAN.
Q: will HardwareGrowl (1.3.1) notify me when/if my ISP provide external IP address changes? VS my internal LAN IP?

No way it can. It can only detect changes on your computer, which this is not.

I see apps that will show the external IP in the menubar so
determining the external IP is possible. BwanaDik, IPMenuete, etc. all
will show the IP. BwanaDik says they discontinued the emailing when a
change occurs but it seems HardwareGrowl and Growl should be the combo
needed to do this.

Sure would be a nice future enhancement.
