I purchased and downloaded Prowl for my iPhone, and so I have been
trying to download Growl. For some reason, Growl will download, but
when I try to Install, it says to run the update script and to contact
customer service. Any idea what's going on?? Also, when I search
through my computer, I notice that the Growl Preference Pane has
Installed in my System Preferences. Someone help please.

If you go into System Preferences, do you see Growl listed? If so, go into it, and click the About tab. What version is listed there?

When I go to my System Preferences, it shows Growl at the bottom under
"Other" and it says the version is 1.2.1

It sounds to me like Growl is already installed. I've never heard of what you initially reported.

Go to the displays tab, and there is a preview button on the displays in the lower right hand portion of the Growl preferences. If you can test.. oh.. smoke would be a good one, that'll be fine. If you get a test display, I'd say that your Growl installation is actually there and to try getting Prowl going.

Please send us a screenshot as an email attachment to the group.

Instructions for taking a screenshot are here:

These instructions are the same on Mac OS X 10.5.
