That means out of 6 ways of forwarding notifications in my setup of 3 computers 5 are working - but not the one I'm mainly interested in. growlnotify is able to send notifications directly using the -H options, but the growl instance on this computer refuses to forward messages. Any idea what I can do? Any way to debug the communication mac mini -> mac book? Can't find any useful log messages.

All 3 macs are running mountain lion w/o firewall.
