Fellow devs,

Chris Karr has submitted several patches for 1.1.2 (to fix sound
configuration) and has started working on patches for improving
Growl's AppleScript configurability, reviewing these before final
patch submission via the mailing list. In addition, he's suggested
areas of improvement for parity in various notification methods
(audible, visual, etc.) and has shown an active interest and passion
for improving our project as he learns the ropes and becomes familiar
with everything.

I therefore recommend we grant him commit access. Your thoughts?

I concur, I think he would be an excellent addition.

I'm flattered to be considered for this. Is there any additional best
practices documentation that I should read or something like that?

Also (apologies if this has been covered before), what's the status of
the bug tracking system? trac.growl.info redirects me to the main
Growl page.

Hang around the forums, check out the coding style guidelines, and
when Trac is back, check out the commit guidelines.

Trac is down right now, it's a beast for Chris to get set up and
hasn't been restored yet after the website transition. Soonish
hopefully.

Really it's more about getting the silly website to even be stable first, but I'm about to just give up and setup a cronjob to restart apache every night at midnight and be done with it.

Chris I'll be emailing you directly about commit stuff. :)

Do you know what is going wrong with it? If you toss me the error logs and any other logs you can think of for it, I can take a look and try to figure out what is going wrong.
