The Growl web page doesn't list Evernote as a compatible application under productivity.  I've been using Growl 1.2.2 successfully under Snow Leopard then Lion and don't want to upgrade if the newer versions aren't compatible with Evernote.

I just downloaded and set up evernote for the first time ever, and immediately received a notification from it in Growl, and the listing showed up in the Growl applications tab. I'm can confidently say that it's working for me. :)

Thanks Chris. Non app store versions of Growl have always worked well
with Evernote, but when Growl moved to to the app store I assumed it
didn't work because the app wasn't listed on your home page. You
might consider adding the icon. Anyway, appreciate you checking it
out for me !!

I'd be happier about adding it if they contacted us, but they were never listed before either. There are a lot of apps that we just don't know about having added Growl because they didn't tell us about it.

I'll email them and ask if we can add them in.
