Volume Control

Can we get a volume notification thing like the one snarl has?
volumeter pops up notifications everytime the volume changes which is
great since i have a button which changes the volume by 2% each press.

ok i found the meter plugin but i use the metro display for the other
notifications so it seems kinda weird. would it be possible for a
display to both have a meter style and a normal growl style?

it is possible for a display to have both a normal (text) display and
a meter-based display (the Meter display actually does both), but it
is up to the display author to write the code to handle it. the author
of the Metro display checks these forums periodically, so maybe he
will see this request and add that feature, or you could try leaving a
comment on his blog and asking nicely over there.

i contacted the author of the metro display and let him know that the
pages were down and he got it all sorted out, so it should be working
again now.
