Notification in Thunderbird only inbox

I used ThunderBird and Growl on my old Mac system (10.6.8)
i reisntall my system with same parameters ( 10.6.8 & growl 1.2.2 )
but i don't receive notifications.

I nedd to install a plugin : https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/thunderbird/addon/growl-new-message-notification/


Now it's work.
but i receive notifications only when mails arrive in inbox ( not in all folders and sub folders. )

why that ?

what can i do ?
