Carbon app, using fw 1.2.3 setting delegate fails with 1.3.3 installed

As the subject says, attempting to do a Growl_SetDelegate is failing
using fw 1.2.3 which Growl 1.3.3 installed.

This is the setup and call to Growl_SetDelegate that fails:

The code has worked fine for a long time, and Growl_SetDelegate only
started failing after I upgraded to 1.3.3. There are no messages in
the console.

It turned out to be because
_launchGrowlIfInstalledWithRegistrationDictionary fails because it
can't find a preference pane. Nothing wrong with my code, just a lack
of backwards compatibility in 1.3.3.

As discussed on irc, we'll accept patches to the maintenance-1.2 branch to fix this problem. :)
