This is to make up for what was missing before last Sunday. I was too tired to finish this issue last Saturday. We need to prepare human resources for continuing this part of work. 這一份是在補充本來在上星期日之前要發出去的。上星期六我過份疲勞已至發不出去這一期。我們必須發一些人力以便使這份事工持續下去。
Looking at the sermon title of Oct 9, the first question that caught my attention was about "closer" as I was expecting a comparison upon seeing the word. I thoughts there were a suspending part, " closer to us than..." . The same title in Mandarin told me no. 看到十月九日的講道題目時，第一個想到的疑問是，「closer」這個字，因為我在期待看到「比...更」，猜想大概是個懸疑的手法，把另一不份藏起來，引人好奇。可是看到的中文題目卻沒有那個跡象。
The opening sentence then caught my attention and my mind was filled. "Some said that, in general, a religion starts with 'searching for God'. But the Bible, the beginning point of our faith, indicates that "God is searching for people". 開場第一句話又立刻抓到又佔滿我的注意力了。「有人說一般宗教的出發點在於尋找神。但聖經，信仰的出發點是神在尋找人」
How can a church come closer and closer to the people, just like how God comes closer and closer to us? 一個教會可能如何像『上第一』一般越來越接近我們？
