Greenhouse + grower from Virginia

Hi!

I am looking forward to learning a lot from you even though I am not
local to you. I built my greenhouse a year and a half ago (6 x 8) and
added side boxes (15" x 8') in the fall. So not only do I have
tomatoes, peppers, herbs inside, but carrots and garlic covered in the
outside boxes.

The wind here is brutal and it is a challenge to keep the plastic
covering in place (greenhouse is firm, double poly walls, but top vent
is not snug, so cover helps).

I would welcome suggestions on how to keep it warmer in there and how
to fashion cold frames against the greenhouse/over the side boxes.
