Good afternoon Growing Pride Gardeners, after being a bit on hiatus since last Fall we are finally back with our first meet & greet.

When: Sunday May 22, 2016
Time: noon-2pm
Where: Mozart Community Garden, 876 N Mozart Street, Chicago IL 60622

It will be a BBQ potluck, please bring a dish to share, we'll provide the grill.

Let us know if you can make it. We have been growing seedlings in the Christy Webber greenhouse that we'll bring to share. Feel free to bring seeds and all things gardening to swap.

Thanks and see you next week!

Peace,

Angela

Hi everyone!

Thanks for organizing this get-together! I can bring some seedlings on Sunday to share from Our Block: lacinato and red kale, onions, various small heirloom tomatoes and some herbs.

See you soon,
Amy

Hi Everyone!-

It has been awhile since I have been involved with this group.  It was tough after our community garden land was developed and heartbreaking to watch the bulldozer plow through that wonderful space we created at the Parquito.

I have left over our dry/sawdust toilet that I would like see have another chapter in its life.  We had it at the Parquito for a number of years and it worked out well.  There is a latch so you can attach a padlock on it.  We stored tools in there when it wasn't a work day.

It is currently stored in my backyard in Logan Square near Central Park & Fullerton and needs to move soon.  Please share with interested parties but I don't want this out to a bunch of people.

thanks
