Hello All-

It's finally here! All the information you could want about our 2nd Annual GROW camping trip! So here's the need to know:

DATES: June 20-22, 2008; RSVP(see bottom of email) by June 15th.

LOCATION: This year we decided on a location closer to town so that people could come for just one night if necessary or if they wanted/needed to for just the day. The campground is White River Campground in Montegue, MI. The website is:

My family has camped here for more summers than I can remember and the Campground has a wonderful bathroom facility, fortunately right near our sites, also a pool, a creek that we can wade in, a volleyball court, and is conveniently located near a really neat beach on lake michigan called Meinert Park.

FUN EVENT: Tubing/Canoeing/Kayaking down the White River on Saturday afternoon.

COSTS: The only mandatory fees this year are the site fees of $9.00/night per person, so $9.00 for 1 night and $18.00 for both.

The GROW group will be covering the costs of food.

ALSO: the costs for our afternoon on the river are as follows: Tube: $11/person

Canoe: $17/person
Kayak: $28/person

TIMES: We are hoping to have two departure times on Friday afternoon for the campsites one at 3:00pm and one at 6:00pm.

***If anyone is willing to drive at one of those times please let us know.***

Return time is open ended, but if anyone has a commitment on Sunday that they need to be home for please make that known at the time of your confirmation/rsvp.

SUGGESTED EQUIPMENT:(if you do not have something on this list please let us know and we will find it for you to borrow)

Sleeping Bag Pillow

Lawn Chair Swim Suit/Towell

Toiletries Clothes (make sure you have a sweatshirt just in case)

Bug Spray Sunscreen

Camera Flashlight

Air Mattress/Sleep Pad Sandals & Tennis Shoes

Beach "toys" Any fun Campfire games

Bible(for sunday morning)

******Also, if anyone has any tents, stoves, coolers, or other utensils that could be used by the whole group and that you are willing to share please let us know well in advance.
