Prayers for Faith Alive

Hi Friends,

 

Just a small prayer request--an article is running in this month's Banner about the financial woes of Faith Alive. The article itself is pretty positive, but the Banner is also posted online, and some of the comments that people have posted there are quite discouraging for our staff. Please send up a prayer for us--especially for my boss and others above her who are trying hard to find ways to get us out of the hole that the economic slump has sunk us in. We have been working so hard, much harder than we've ever worked before, and we believe in the materials that we publish, so the criticism hurts. We need to feel the support of our denomination and to feel that what we're doing does matter even when churches can't afford to spend as much as they used to.

 

Please also pray for Sophie, Jim, and me--we're praying for the safe arrival of our little girl hopefully next week!
