Hello list,

I have been using google groups for over a year and at the beginning it was great because it was a small group of moms with the same range of age children that shared common interests.  However the group has now about 180 members from which only 30 to 50 are still active.  Is there a way to remove inactive members in a group?  I would not want to do this manually to avoid any conflicts.

Thanks for any leads in this topic.

Best,

Ingrid

I am personally unaware of any method that would make this happen automatically.

If the system has declared any of the users as having a bouncing mail address that may be one potential flag to use.

If you don't mind spending some time with the group for a couple of weeks, change all users to moderated status,  Then as you approve messages, open up that user to post again.  Whom ever is left over is not using the system.
