Accidentially Deleted Myself as Group Owner

Dear Sirs,

Please can you help me?

I require Google's assistance in re-instating me as the Owner of the Belvedere Jazz & Music Club Google Group’s email list. We are based in Wickford, Essex, England.

On 2nd January I was adding the Club's new belved...@gmail.com  email address to the Group when I decided to make it Manager/Owner instead of me (philipc...@googlrmail.com ).

Stupidly before I had made the new email address the Manager/Owner, in transferring the ownership, I unticked my philip...@googlemail.com .com as owner first!

Now although I can view the Group which has 585 members, I cannot manage it or post its members to inform them about new jazz gigs.

Can you therefore please re-instate philipc...@googlemail.com as Owner?

It sounds to me that you could simply log out of your account and log into the club's gmail account... assuming that you are authorized to do so.  If you can't log into that account, then get the person who has access to that account to let you back in.

Thanks for your reply Rob, but does not work as the club’s gmail account was only down as a member, not an administrator.

I have now started an entirely new group for the club with as many email addresses I had held on my PC.
