Shopping Cart Integration

It is my understanding that there is a shopping cart plugin that will
let ecommerce sites accept coupon codes from Groupon. I have a
customer that wants to allow their customer who purchase on groupon to
redeem the purchase on their ecommerce site by entering into a
discount field in the shopping baskets.

Does anyone know if this type of integration documentation is
available?

Hello,

We don't offer a public coupon validation API. These kind of integrations are done on a per-merchant basis, and can be arranged by contacting us directly.

Any chance you'd open that up to plugin developers?  I'm speaking on behalf of Event Espresso (an event management plugin for WordPress).  We currently have a Groupon Integration add-on for our plugin, but it's very basic.  We'd like to hook into your API, if possible.
