How is Groupon API related to Commission Junction affiliate program

Hi,

I'm trying to understand how are CJ and Groupon connected. I have
tried the widget which is asking me for my CJ Publisher ID, and that's
seems all cool, but I would like to use Groupon's API instead, however
when I go through the process, I receive a Groupon generated API key,
and nowhere am I asked to provide my CJ PID, so I can't help thinking
these are different type of setup.

Are they? or is there a way I can include my CJ PID somewhere to I can
get my affiliate money through the usual channel?

Hi Al,

You can use our API directly, you just have to modify the deal link
URLs to make sure it is properly configured with CJ.
