Bots and Topics

I'm not finding a way to get a bot to post to a specific topic, it just posts to the main chat of the group. Am I missing something, or has this API feature not been introduced yet?

As far as I know, bots are incapable of acting in topics, since topics are mostly treated as different chats under the hood, and bots can't be in different chats

We really need a feature that allows us to add bots to topics, the form to create a bot only lists the main groups :(
