Apparently transferring a group to another owner breaks the bot kinda?

Ok, so I think I messed up (wasn't thinking).  I have two GroupMe accounts.  One for personal, and one for work stuff (to keep them segregated).  I transferred some groups from my personal one to my work one that I had created bots for, figuring the bots would transfer to the new developer account.  Well, now neither account has the bot, and I'm unable to simply create a new one as the callback URL already exists for that group.

So what can I do to resolve this?  In an ideal world, I'd love for the existing bots to simply transfer to the new account, and go right back to work.  But I'm ok if dev changes are needed on the application side.

Thoughts?

Hi,

I would suggest to re-join your original user back to the affected groups (if you left group on your own, it should be easily doable via group Archive in app). That will re-enable bots and their administration. Unfortunately there is no way to transfer bot to some other user, so in order to reuse the same url, you need to delete bot from old user's account and create new from new user profile.
Bot's are'n self-sustained entities, they alway stay linked to author's user profile.

Hope it helps!
