Hi All,
Thank you sending your public SSH keys, those were uploaded to the server today.
All servers were reconfigured to accept only SSH public/private key authentication, password authentication was removed. You should all be able to access server as you always did, no changes. With public key authentication there is no need to enter password any more. This is true for SSH login, but also for deployments via capistrano. One password less to keep and remember …
If you need to SSH to staging use the following:
ssh dep...@web-1.staging.ops.groupiter.com
Similarly, for beta login, use:
ssh dep...@web-1.beta.ops.groupiter.com
Note: above can be confusing since you hit servers with http://staging.groupiter.com and http://beta.groupiter.com ; intuitively you would SSH into servers with the same name. Unfortunately, names like staging.groupiter.com DNS resolve to Rackspace load balancers and you can't login to those.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have problem connecting or deploying.
Thanks,
Misha
