If you care about collaborative editing, a beter overview of who is
streaming where, when, a group out of gollum facebook and corporate
hands, i think we are coming up with a interesting prototype solution
for working group collborative curation & content production, it can
be used has a base to then share to social networks, but at least
collaboration, and originals stay on our collective possession, this
platform is not logging, ip or anything else, you need to accept the
non-commercial certificate for the FIRST time by adding the certificate
to your browser list of certificates, and then you are ready to read the
platform, and register to participate either by connecting with your
twitter or OpenID account or registering natively on the platform.
Videos, links, files, can be collected, there is integrated use of
collaborative so called "pirate-pad" or "etherpad" to create content in
real time collaboratively, it also manage vi
deo
well, it can also import from your own already established GA wbesite,
or working group website, using RSS feeds to auto-feed the group you
create for your own work-project, art, whatever, the limits of use of
our platform groups only depends on each and everyone participation into
the group.
the platform has some kind of a "facebook wall" to
also allow quick conversation aka twitter between members, it has IRC
chat integration, twitter image search embed into groups, twitter
scrapping of a particular hashtag, (let's say your next action is
#tarsandX, you can program the group to scrapp twitter and put in front
of user participation, links to images, video, twits, google search
relation to this action, the system just need keywords or hahstags, and
it can automatically scrapp the web and social networks (those that are
more or less open) for you.
here is an exemple in the case of
Streamers. this group show a few exemples web integration i'm talking
above. all in the purpose of Showing the last stream episode available
from the database of more then 600 streamers we have been curating over
the past month.
