Hello all!
I’ve not said much since joining this group but after only 6.5 years I’ve lost my boy to osteosarcoma and my family and I have come to the decision we’d like another Leo. If you could let me know of the good breeders in the area it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Here’s my Titan at his best.

Hi Jonathan,

Here are some very good breeders in the north west area.  My recommendation is to go to the LCA website, click on finding a Leo puppy, and then go to he matings and litters page.  There you will find LCA breeders in your area who are having litters now.

Best of luck, and I hope you find the right leo for your family.  I’m sorry you lost your boy Titan so young!

Good suggestion. If you’re looking for a puppy now, Allyson Pielop Taylor in Clovis, which is central California near Fresno, has a female left from her most recent litter which turned eight weeks old this past Tuesday. I’ve examined all four females in the litter and they’re all very nice. I’ve have/had boys and girls, and in my opinion, the females are generally more demonstrative than males, which might be a positive change for you this time around. Allyson is a breeder of merit and puts out nice Leos.  She’ll be in Carmel this weekend for an AKC dog show if that helps the distance issue. Her number is: 559.284.9303.

Good luck. Carl

Interesting about girls being more demonstrative. My boy is older and he's very dignified, used to everyone going crazy over how big and gorgeous he is, but my girl is still puppy like,  only 2, and small and limber enough to jump up on my high bed and plaster herself to my side. When I walk in the door she does the girly wiggle dance, but my Harvey looks deeply into my eyes and makes lion noises while I give him hugs and scratches. He has the lighter eyes, so his gaze is very intense. Both give me love, but a different style.
Just some Leo reflections.
