Announcing the TI India Educators’ Conference!

Texas Instruments India will hold its first “Educators’ Conference” during April 4-6, 2013. The conference is being held in cooperation with IEEE Bangalore section and the Bangalore chapter of IEEE Circuits and Systems society. The purpose of the conference is to bring academicians and industry professionals together on one platform to facilitate exchange of ideas.  You will find a “Call for Participation” displayed prominently on the TI India Univeristy Program website (www.ti.com/univ-in).

The program of the conference will include technical papers related to applications of TI technology – embedded processors and analog – to solve problems in the society. If you are a researcher who uses TI semiconductors in applications such as renewable energy, healthcare, infotainment or security, here is an opportunity to present your work! You will have a vibrant audience to share your results with.  Proceedings of the conference will be available in the CD-ROM format. Selected papers will be included in a hard-copy proceedings that will be published post facto. We expect that the papers will be archived on IEEE Explorer.

We also plan to invite several experts – from India and abroad – to showcase their work at the conference. The conference will also feature opportunities for learning. Selected student teams who are taking part in TI India Analog Design Contest (2012-2013) will showcase their projects.  A glittering award ceremony will be held to recognize the winners of the TI India Analog Design Contest (2012-2013).  We expect several invited dignitaries and senior leaders of Texas Instruments to take part in this event.

Participants will also be able to visit booths of industry partners to know the latest trends in the applications of semiconductors. A number of tutorials on hot topics are planned as part of the conference. A panel discussion on the topic of electronic system design and manufacturing will set you thinking.  Most importantly, you will have the opportunity to network with academicians and professionals who share the same interests as yours!

There is an ocean of knowledge in embedded processing and analog. Here is an opportunity to churn the ocean! If you have any ideas to make this an even better experience, do let us know!
