Job Description

We are looking for a QA / Test Automation Architect who will partner with Engineering, SRE/Platform, DevOps, Product, and Security teams to define automation strategy, build scalable frameworks, and drive quality engineering practices.

 

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Governance

·         Define test automation strategy.

·         Evaluate, prescribe, and govern automation tools.

·         Create and enforce coding and testing standards.

·         Establish a Quality Architecture blueprint.

·         Define governance processes.

Architecture & Implementation

·         Architect scalable and modular automation frameworks.

·         Build reusable automation libraries.

·         Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.

·         Implement observability for test pipelines.

·         Partner with SRE / Platform teams.

Delivery & Enablement

·         Coach and mentor SDETs and engineers.

·         Create playbooks and templates.

·         Collaborate with product and engineering teams.

·         Drive test data strategy.

·         Promote shift-left testing practices.

 

Mandatory Skills

·         UFT Development

·         C# (C Sharp)

·         DevOps

 

Required Qualifications

·         Experience designing large-scale test automation frameworks and libraries.

·         Expertise in one or more languages: UFT, Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python.

·         Experience with web UI automation (Playwright, WebDriver/Selenium).

·         Experience with API testing (REST/GraphQL, contract testing with Pact/Playwright/Stoplight).

·         Experience with performance testing tools such as k6, Gatling, JMeter.

·         Strong CI/CD integration experience (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI).

·         Experience with artifact and report publishing tools (Allure, Extent, ReportPortal).

·         Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), Docker, and Kubernetes for test execution.

·         Experience establishing coding standards and conducting code reviews for test code.

·         Familiarity with design patterns such as Page Object, Screenplay, Component Object, Builder, and Strategy.

·         Understanding of test data management, environment management, and observability (logs, metrics, traces) in test pipelines.

·         Strong communication skills.
