Job Title: Delivery and Release Manager
Location: Remote (USA) – Preference for Memphis, TN or Dallas, TX (EST/CST Preferred)
Experience: 8 Years

 

Job Summary

We are seeking a Delivery and Release Manager to support technology initiatives across core renovation, technology platforms, and strategic internal partnerships. This role will own the end-to-end software delivery and release process, drive process improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality project delivery.

 

Responsibilities

·         Follow Agile delivery methodologies to ensure consistent project execution.

·         Plan, schedule, and manage end-to-end release schedules and activities.

·         Collaborate with stakeholders and partner teams to align delivery timelines.

·         Coordinate with Architecture, QA, DevOps, and Operations teams for release execution.

·         Conduct release retrospectives and root cause analyses (RCAs).

·         Maintain release calendars and communicate timelines, risks, and status updates.

·         Identify and mitigate risks impacting release quality or delivery schedules.

·         Participate in process improvement, reporting, estimation, planning, and project initiation activities.

·         Maintain delivery data in Jira, Confluence, and other project management tools.

·         Update release and service artifacts following each release.

·         Manage workflows and streamline departmental procedures.

 

Required Skills

·         Strong experience with Agile delivery methodologies.

·         Proficiency with Jira and Confluence.

·         Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Stash and GitLab.

·         Understanding of DevOps practices and principles.

·         Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

·         Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate release risks.

·         Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

 

Qualifications

·         2+ years of experience in a Release or Delivery Management role utilizing Agile methodology.

·         3+ years of professional experience in Technology or a related field.

·         Experience conducting Release Retrospectives and RCAs.

·         Experience maintaining release and service documentation.

·         Ability to travel up to 10% as required.

·         Experience supporting global teams across multiple locations.
