Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, configure, and deploy ServiceNow HRSD solutions using the ServiceNow platform.
• Configure and customize HR Case Management, Lifecycle Events, Employee Center, and related HRSD capabilities.
• Develop applications and platform solutions using JavaScript, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and ACLs.
• Build and maintain integrations with enterprise applications using REST APIs, SOAP, Integration Hub, and MID Server.
• Design and implement workflow automation and orchestration to improve employee experience and operational efficiency.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including solution designs, update sets, integration specifications, deployment plans, and runbooks.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide post-deployment support.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to ServiceNow development standards and SDLC practices.
• Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, HR teams, and product owners to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Evaluate and recommend emerging ServiceNow capabilities such as Virtual Agent, AI Search, and Now Assist
Required Qualifications
• 3+ years of recent hands-on ServiceNow HRSD development experience.
• Strong expertise in:
• HR Case Management
• Lifecycle Events
• Employee Self-Service / Employee Center
• HR Knowledge Management
• Experience with additional ServiceNow modules such as:
• WSD (Workplace Service Delivery)
• ITOM
• CSM
• Strong proficiency in:
• JavaScript
• Business Rules
• Script Includes
• Client Scripts
• UI Policies
• ACLs
• Data Model Design
• Experience developing integrations using:
• REST APIs
• SOAP Web Services
• IntegrationHub
• MID Server
• Experience with Flow Designer, Service Catalog, Reporting, Dashboards, and CMDB concepts.
• Knowledge of authentication, error handling, logging, retry mechanisms, and integration best practices.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
Required Certifications
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – Required
• ServiceNow Certified Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD) Professional
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
