Job Description
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager (TPM) to join the centralized Technical Project Management team within BizTech. This role will primarily support data engineering initiatives, with a strong focus on Customer Data Platform (CDP) programs and complex data migrations, while occasionally supporting non-data projects as business needs require.
This TPM will drive clarity, alignment, and execution across cross-functional teams. The role requires someone comfortable working in ambiguous environments, supporting documentation, sprint workflows, executive discussions, and end-to-end delivery ownership.
Role & Responsibilities
· Own end-to-end delivery of complex data programs, primarily CDP initiatives, from planning through execution, launch, and business impact reviews.
· Serve as the primary coordination point between business stakeholders, technical owners, CDP teams, data engineering teams, and Data Leadership.
· Facilitate quarterly planning activities and maintain prioritization frameworks and scorecards.
· Produce project documentation including requirements, milestone plans, dependency maps, technical diagrams, and architecture overviews.
· Partner with engineering teams to translate technical requirements into Jira epics and user stories.
· Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and Agile delivery activities.
· Own and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including planning, execution, stakeholder coordination, issue tracking, and sign-off.
· Present project progress, risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams.
· Manage SteerCo operations, including scheduling, executive materials, facilitation, follow-ups, and decision-making discussions.
Skills & Experience Required
· 7+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager or Technical Program Manager.
· Experience leading data engineering, platform, or large-scale technical programs.
· Familiarity with data warehouse pipelines and CDP-related workflows.
· Strong understanding of the project delivery lifecycle including planning, discovery, design, execution, testing, launch, and post-delivery review.
· Strong technical understanding with the ability to collaborate with engineering teams on architecture, requirements, dependencies, and delivery tradeoffs.
· Experience creating structured documentation including requirements, process flows, diagrams, and architecture maps.
· Ability to manage detailed project plans across multiple workstreams.
· Experience translating business and technical requirements into Jira epics and user stories.
· Strong facilitation skills across sprint planning, solution design, UAT, stakeholder sessions, and executive reviews.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
· Ability to manage risks, dependencies, accountability, and multiple workstreams effectively.
