Location: Dallas, Charlotte, or Columbus (Hybrid- 3 days)

Rate: $65/hr. C2C

 

Project Focus: Enterprise Automation, GenAI Integration, Intelligent Systems

 

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AI Lead / AI Architect to drive the design, development, and implementation of AI-driven automation solutions. This role will be responsible for shaping the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for AI and automation initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in AI/ML, GenAI, automation platforms, and end‑to‑end solution delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities

AI Strategy & Architecture

  • Define the AI/automation architecture, technology stack, and solution blueprint.
  • Translate business automation requirements into scalable, production‑ready AI solutions.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate AI tools, frameworks, and platforms (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, LangChain, RPA tools, etc.).

Solution Development

  • Lead development of intelligent automation solutions leveraging:
    • Machine Learning & Deep Learning models
    • Generative AI (LLMs, embeddings, prompt engineering)
    • NLP/NLU/NLG pipelines
    • RPA and workflow automation tools
  • Build reusable components, AI accelerators, and enterprise-level automation patterns.

 

 

Technical Leadership

  • Provide technical leadership to engineering teams, data scientists, and automation developers.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, model evaluations, and risk assessments.
  • Establish AI governance, model monitoring, and responsible AI practices.

Integration & Deployment

  • Architect integration patterns with enterprise systems (APIs, microservices, data pipelines).
  • Oversee model deployment, MLOps pipelines, monitoring, and optimization.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and data privacy across all AI solutions.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with product owners, business SMEs, and automation teams to identify use cases.
  • Present AI strategy, architectural decisions, and value outcomes to leadership.
  • Build adoption frameworks and best practices for enterprise-scale automation.

 

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in AI/ML, automation, or enterprise architecture roles.
  • Strong proficiency with:
    • Python, ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn)
    • LLMs, prompt engineering, vector databases, embeddings
    • MLOps tools (Azure ML, Databricks, MLflow, Kubeflow)
    • Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)
    • RPA tools (UiPath, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere) – preferred
  • Experience building and deploying enterprise-grade AI solutions end‑to‑end.

 

Architecture & Design

  • Strong understanding of:
    • Solution architecture and cloud-native design
    • API and microservices patterns
    • Data architecture, ETL/ELT, and feature engineering
    • AI governance and Responsible AI frameworks

Soft Skills

  • Ability to lead, mentor, and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.
