Hi all,

i want to add the Business Process View Addon to Groundwork.
I did some changes in it and it works fine.

The Addon has the option to automatically write an config file to the
nagios config folder with the newly created Business Services.
When you add the cfg file in the nagios main configuration Nagios
would add the services into Nagios View.
Then they are written to the log file and its possible to get the
availability out of it.

Now the problem:
Groundwork everytime overwrites all cfg files.
Is there a way to add the path of the newly created cfg. file into
Groundwork that its going to be written into the Nagios main config?

Thanks

Tom

Theres a homepage where they patched the Addon for Groundwork.

Have a look at this: http://www.dass-it.de/download/nagios-buisiness-process-addon-for-groundwork

Although I haven't verified this in CE, in EE 6.2 the Configuration ->
Control -> Nagios main configuration section allows you to specify
Misc directives, which could include cfg_file=xxxx.

DassIT has done a lot of work with APIs that access Monarch, the
underlying configuration system to Nagios in GroundWork Monitor.
DassMonarch is their SOAP-accessible API. GroundWork Monitor includes
DassMonarch without the SOAP access. I would be surprised if they
hadn't thought of how to hook the Addon up to GroundWork Monitor using
the DassMonarch API so as to avoid messing with files.
