If you have already received this, just delete. Had problems sending to a large number last week, so am resending using a different route. Hope this works to send documents. My apologies!!
Greetings from Central America!
We pray that this finds each of you and those you love close to your God, crazy in love with Jesus and ready to serve in any way the Holy Spirit leads!! We at Groundwork Guatemala are two thirds through the year, celebrating eleven awesome teams that have served the people of Guatemala, as well as being served BY them, and looking forward to our five remaining teams of 2010.
As teams come to serve and as we correspond with so many of you and your congregations throughout the year, we frequently hear the questions “What does the ministry need?” or “How can we help?” So, we sat down recently to brainstorm our current needs along with a bit of future planning and dreaming. I’ve attached a “Random Needs” list in a .pdf format for those of you who would like to take a look.
Also attached is another .pdf document that gives you a peek at our new Groundwork Guatemala t-shirts! Some of our most recent teams have had fun with our “I Like Fruit!” and “Cuál es tu numero hoy?” shirts! The first reminds us of our call to bear the fruit of the Spirit, our 2010 Faith Lesson theme. And anyone who’s ridden with Kevin in the van in the last four years knows his frequently asked conversation starter “What’s your number today?” then, of course, “Why?” Well, we have a t-shirt that celebrates the fact that we can all be a ‘10’ (or more!) because we have the hope, joy and peace only God can give!! We also have shirts reminding us as “I Will Praise You, Oh Lord, Among the Nations” to go about “Seeking the Lost; Equipping the Found,” our Groundwork Guatemala mission statement. And teams, you could even use the GG t-shirts as your team shirts! All proceeds from the suggested donations will go towards education and educational resources for the children of Guatemala. If you’d like to order any tees, please fill out the attached order form and mail it to the address as indicated. Gracias in advance!
“All of us have had that veil removed so that we can be mirrors that brightly reflect the glory of the Lord. And as the Spirit of the Lord works within us, we become more and more like Him and reflect His glory even more.” 2 Corinthians 3:18
Glow with His glory!!
Much love in His name,
Ginny
