Hola from Guatemala!
Wow! We're already in the fifth month of ministry with Groundwork
Guatemala!! We are absolutely amazed at how God has provided for our
needs during these first months. He is faithful and always provides
for whatever it is He calls us to do!! In His time!!!
Our ministry days in Amatitlan and Buena Vista are filled with
precious people whose ears are itching to hear God's words of comfort
and strength and salvation. The home visits that are made each week
bring the arms of Christ closer as we hear the joys and sorrows of
those we visit. Sharing God's unconditional love is such a privilege
and one that our Guatemalan missionaries, Julian, Manuel, Oscar, Ruth
and Sandra are so passionate to do.
We are blessed to have eleven teams join us in ministry in 2009! God
is so good! Not only are the lives of the Guatemalans changed, but the
hearts and lives of those who come to serve are touched in ways that
just don't always happen when we're back home in our usual routines.
We'll be sending out information on how you can bring a team to serve
in Guatemala in the next few weeks. We already have two teams
scheduled for 2010! If you'd like more info or would like to schedule
your team, email me at

Randy has done a magnificent job of launching the Groundwork Guatemala
website. I never realized how much work went into making sure each
page opened properly in every type of browser. Be sure to visit the
site and check back from time to time as Randy adds new items. Take a
look at

Rachel is the one to contact about sponsorships! We're getting closer,
but we're still in need of sponsors for each of our Guatemalan
missionaries. If you or your church, Sunday School, small group or
someone you know are interested in connecting in a personal way with
someone on our Guatemalan team, email Rach at
rac...@groundworkguatemala.org
Of course, all of you who know Kevin can just picture him riding
around in the back of the pick up truck going up and down the
mountains to our ministry sites! We pray we have found the van we need
so we can ride safer and drier very soon! Patience has had its
benefits!!
So, visit the blog at

new entries about life in Guatemala! We cherish your prayers which
give us strength and courage to press on in ministry.
Blessings and love,
Ginny
