After hours, days, and weeks of work, Randy has done an incredible job
creating the Groundwork Guatemala website! We hope that you'll take a
look soon to see what this new ministry is all about. We'll be adding
more information, especially for our mission teams, in the coming

Thought I'd update you on the status of the legal issues with the
former ministry. We praise God that the paperwork was finally approved
and Kevin is no longer legal representative! A huge relief for all of
us! We are moving forward!!

Vehicle update: We thought we had a great 6 passenger 4x4 pickup
purchased, but because of a newly found mechanical issue, we felt we
shouldn't go any further with that and got our money back. (We are
grateful that Manuel's friend, the owner of the truck, was honest with
us regarding what his mechanic discovered!) So, we're back to using
Rodrigo, the very small, coughing and wheezing pickup that belongs to
Julian. We're back to square one. Although the money we have in hand
will cover a car or small truck, we consistently have 8 of us going
out to our ministry sites and always have several people riding in the
back of the pickup. It's becoming increasingly more dangerous and
unpredictable, not to mention that rainy season is approaching in a
couple months. So, we are seeking God's direction to lead us to a
safe, reliable van that will accomodate our entire ministry team and
that He will provide the additional support that we need to purchase
it. Thanks for your prayers!!!
