{Groundwork Guatemala update} Laptop needs!

Hola!
Have you seen the Best Buy commercial where the guy gets a new laptop
and starts the chain of hand offs because he doesn't know what to do
with his old one? Well, rather than throwing your old laptop out a
window or into someone's passing car, please consider throwing it
Groundwork Guatemala's direction!! We can use two or three laptops in
our office so that our Guatemalan staff and students who need to use
the internet for homework have a computer to work on.

A special, urgent need that we have is for Oscar, who will need a
laptop within the next month for his University classes. He has a
pretty full schedule with working at the ministry every day Monday
through Friday, followed by classes every evening. Weekends are spent
studying for the following week. He's so excited to be moving forward
this year with his studies. He's reaching the point in his classes
where he really needs to have a laptop.

He has also given me a list of the programs that he needs, which are:
Auto Cad, Atlantis, 3D Max, and Photo Shop. I have only heard of Photo
Shop, but perhaps those of you who have used the other programs might
now of their availability and cost.

So, if you (or someone you know) have an old laptop with Windows XP or
newer, please shoot me an email and we can work on the "how to get it
down here" part.
