so i am looking at the new ideas app which was broken out from organize
app:
- its purpose it not fully clear to me. the one existing template
currently is titled CREATE AN EVENT, shows a catalog of existing ideas
and then forwards to the assignment editor which is part of the
organize app. should it be retitled to something like CHOOSE AN IDEA
and will there be more than this one functionality?
- i suggest renaming idea_catalog.html to ideas_catalog.html and all
other idea_* prefixes to include the final 's'.
- observe functions: make it a rule to prefix them with 'observe_'
(analogous to the principally agreed upon 'fill_' prefix)?

You're right about changing the header. I'll think about what they
clearest text would be. I don't think CHOOSE AN IDEA is right either.
I'll think about idea->ideas. It's not quite as good english to say
ideas catalog.
'observe'... no. same argument as with _submitted. These things have
to have action names. What about suffixing them with _changed? Would
that make you happier? I'm all about making you happy, but only if it
actually increases clarity. Sometimes clarity and uniformity are
actually at odds.

i agree, it is not as good english, but imho would be logic. we can
probably also remove the 's' instead. i was just thinking about
conformity to make it easier to recognise what belongs to what.

yes, you are right. i didn't think about that. the suffix '_changed'
would make me happy. :)
