Not sure what is going on.. but for some reason if I run groovyserver
now.. it always just hangs on:

Starting.

rs:~ roger$ groovyserver -v
Groovy home directory: /opt/groovy-1.8.3
Groovy command path: /opt/groovy-1.8.3/bin/groovy (found at
GROOVY_HOME)
GroovyServ home directory: /opt/groovyserv-0.9
GroovyServ work directory: /Users/roger/.groovy/groovyserv
Original classpath: (none)
GroovyServ default classpath: /opt/groovyserv-0.9/lib/*
Starting.

just sits forever.

(thus if I run groovyclient, which starts groovyserver I get this..
and if I alias groovy to groovyclient.. you get the picture)

I'd used this long ago with like 0.5 or some older version.. but now..
nuttin.

Thoughts?

Hi,

Exactly. Groovyserv v0.9 doesn't work with groovy 1.8.3 and 1.8.4. I
prepared a snapshot jar file for workaround. Please replace
groovyserv-0.9.jar to it and try again.

See https://github.com/kobo/groovyserv/issues/38. And vote
http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GROOVY-5101 if you can, please!
