Almost certainly true: I don't have any inside information on this point, but I'd be really, really
surprised to see an NFJS + GR8Conf team-up.
The rumors I *have* heard suggest that the Groovy conference will probably be
east-coast/mid-Atlantic, though, and probably in the first week of November. But those are just
rumors, so don't bank on them: the official announcement will come out at JavaOne.
