FYI Agile 2009 will take place on August 24 to 28, 2009 at Chicago.
Paul King (GinA co-author) is speaking there and it looks like he will
be speaking at GUG as well. It would be terrific if groovycon took
place close to Agile09, maybe Paul can swing by ;-)

Last year he came to the US to speak at ApacheCon NO, instead of going
back to his beloved Brisbane via LAX he took a detour through SJC to
speak at Silicon Valley Code Camp, we had a blast!

That's a great idea Andres! Would you be able to make it out then too? That
would be awesome to have two Groovy Rock Stars!

Definitely! if not as speaker (Griffon and builders are my thing if
anyone is interested) will surely be there on the crowd.
Not sure about the Groovy Rock Star status, but I'm quite proficient
playing RockBand, does that count? ;-)

Added 2 topics: mixed java/groovy projects and testing java from
groovy.
