Hey,

you are Groovy/Grails user/developer? Nice to meet you! I actually
just started this group, so you're in fact the first member who joined
it!

What is your experience with Grails? Are you working with it right
now? And in which country/city are you working/

Cheers
Hendrik

Hi Hendrik,
why did you open this Groovy/Grails UG for Vietnam, but then writing only English? :-D Are you Vietnamese?

I use Grails from Version 1.0 early 2008 and i'm still using it now for the project PLEYONE, a social network for Gamer. Grails is cool, very agile and robust. To begin it was a little buggy sometime, but now its very stable. We are a team in Germany/Berlin, we are working since 2 yeah with Grails in the PLEYONE project.

Very nice to meet you too, a Grails Fan/Developer!

Cheers,
Tung

Anh ko phai la nguoi Viet nhung nguoi Duc. Tui mo nhom nay de gap
nguoi lap trinh o Viet Nam cung tich Groovy va Grails. :-P

So I am from Germany opening this group in Vietnam but only speaking
English while you Vietnamese living in Germany join this group and ask
me to speak Vietnamese? We're pretty diverse here. But nice to meet
you and nice to meet some people here who also like Grails. I
sometimes miss the statically typed nature of "real" Java but then
again, I remember building web apps with JSF 1.x which was to a large
degree in nice and plain Java but also a pain. So yes, I'm happy.

I am using it for a project here in Vietnam that's hopefully going to
be launched soon, have around 6 months experience with it now and
before that, I mentioned it, I came past the a lot of Java web things,
e.g. servlets, JSPs, JSF 1.x, Facelets, Struts and a little
Tapestry...

Cheers and hope to have some more enjoyable and/or productive
discussion here in the future...
Hendrik

Mit besten Grüßen,
Tung
